How Does a Reverse Mortgage Work?
With a traditional mortgage, the flow of funds generally moves from the borrower’s bank account to the lender. Naturally, the loan balance decreases over time as the borrower makes payments.

Will My Parents Still Own Their Home?
A reverse mortgage loan in Texas changes nothing about who owns the home. The deed to the home remains in the borrower’s name exactly as before. As long as the borrower lives in the home as their primary residence and keeps up with the taxes, insurance and home maintenance, no one can make them leave or sell the home. It’s your legacy, and you decide what to do with it.
Could I Be Stuck With a Big Bill?
